About the role
Role: Cloud Engineer Duration: 6+ month contract to hire Location: Remote Interview Process: IKM + 1 hour interview; Interview times November 8 and 9 from 3pm-5pm EST. Required Skills: • Azure - Azure app services and functions. Deploying code is not good enough. • Node.js • React • Java - 11 (Open to 8 or newer). Core Java API fundamentals here. • Spring boot for microservices. • Hibernate • MySQL • CICD - Some familiarity here. Jenkins or equivalent. UHG Job Description: Primary Responsibilities: • Develop highly-scalable applications for the Azure cloud by building microservices, Azure functions, and patterns for public cloud that enable security and privacy at scale • Define and implement technical solutions to meet business needs through Agile process • Foster high-performance, collaborative technical work resulting in high-quality output • Gather and analyze data to aide in informed decision-making while providing detailed, realistic estimates • Interact skillfully with business stakeholders and third-party technical organizations • Proactively automate infrastructure, application and services to enable an automated delivery through the CICD pipelines to the cloud Must to Have: • Experience in software engineering with Java, Javascript (NodeJS) • Proficiency with Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Linux • Experience with DevOps, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (Jenkins, Sonar) • Experience with migrating applications to the Azure cloud • Experience building and deploying applications to the Azure cloud using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform • Experience working in an Agile environment • Expertise with modern programming languages, systems, and architectures Nice to Have: • Experience building RESTful web services • Expertise in performance and scalability optimization • Knowledge of software and infrastructure security practices Thanks & Regards Manoj - Technical Recruiter Thought wave Software and Solutions 314 N.
