Cloud Engineer

Title: Cloud Engineer Location:100% Remote Duration:4-8+ months – they fully expect them to be extended

Must Haves: Candidates should have migration experience (from Azure à AWS) and need strong IAM/SSO experience Migration of data pipelines and API’s is highly sought after and will push candidates over the top. Must have strong AWS and Azure Cloud experience. Need to be strong on both. IAM / SSO experience is required: Experience with AWS IAM Identity Center, previously known as AWS Single Sign-On (AWS SSO) is necessary as this is what they are migrating to. AWS Directory Service to connect their on-premises Active Directory with AWS is highly sought after and again, will push candidates to top of interview list. Experience with Azure Active Directory and SAML is a plus – this is what they are currently using and migrating from. They need strong IaaS using Terraform. AWS and/or Azure Certifications are highly desired.

Job Responsibilities This resource will be responsible for the logistics of a major IT infrastructure deployments using infrastructure as code to ensure consistency and resiliency for the applications specified as part of this document. They will plan, document and execute the actions needed to move the applications from their current location to the new Aerospace AWS.

Typical activities will include: Deploying infrastructure with Terraform Document tasks and timelines for all required activities and milestones Adjust identity integrations with tools to work with Aerospace SSO Ensure CICD pipeline has appropriate scans Document architecture with relevant account details
