Cloud Engineer

CLOUD ENGINEER (AWS) Remote Experian Shared Marketing team is currently looking for Cloud engineer with Strong and hands on AWS knowledge. In this role, candidate will help develop global enterprise applications and services on customer facing external websites. Candidates need to have hands on and good experience in developing and migrating applications in AWS cloud environment. Successful candidates will have a zeal for quickly learning new skills, this being a position that is highly collaborative, positive attitude, appetite to learn new tools and technologies and excellent communication skills are essential. Job Description: · Ability to collaborate within a team, working alongside engineers and technical leads to develop and maintain critical services and applications. · Prior experience in designing and constructing reliable AWS solutions for various application models, prioritizing minimal downtime and high operational efficiency. · Proficiency in migrating Java and PHP applications to the AWS platform. · Ability to collaborate within a team, working alongside engineers and technical leads to develop and maintain critical services and applications. · Creation of prototypes and proof of concepts to facilitate incremental solution development. · Infrastructure development involving the design, implementation, and management of scalable, secure, and robust AWS cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code (IAC) with CloudFormation. · Development and coding of solutions using API Gateway, AWS Serverless resources (such as Lambda), and container-based solutions. · Integrate and Implement AWS resources with monitoring and logging. · Production of high-quality and well-structured code, incorporating necessary security protocols for the cloud environment, while adhering to internal policies and regulations. · Execution of unit and integration testing. · Designing troubleshooting approaches for each interaction point, with appropriate notifications. Enhance solutions to reduce latency across network calls. Qualifications: · 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS and other services. · Experience with IAC leveraging Cloud Formation (Need Cloud Formation skillset and not Terraform). · Experience with coding/scripting in languages (Java Preferred). · Experience with RDS databases. · Good knowledge on AWS Cloud Architecture, Cloud Storage, API Management & CI/CD deployment. · Experience with AWS Serverless resource development (LAMBDA, API Gateway etc.). · Experience migrating applications to AWS cloud from on premise environment. · Experience with version control tools (GIT, Bitbucket). · Good knowledge of Linux operating system. · Experience with agile practices like Scrum. · Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. · Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-moving environment and work on multiple priorities and/or projects simultaneously without impact to quality of work. · AWS Developer and/or SysOps certification
