Credit Capital, Allowance and Stress Testing (CCAST), a group within Corporate Credit Risk, leads the organization though oversight and governance of credit loss forecasting models and methodology. The group provisions documentation, external reporting, and regulatory reporting specific to stress testing and compliance adhering to Basel regulation on risk weighted asset calculations. CCAST manages and provides credit loss estimation across credit-risk generating groups and their component businesses. The team supports the Allowance for Credit Losses, Stress Testing, Regulatory Credit Risk Capital, and the consolidation solutions which support the various functions. The Business Intelligence (BI) team (within the CCAST group) plays a key role in creating, supporting, and streamlining critical reporting processes through utilization of the Cognos Analytics series 11 BI tool set. The BI Team seeks a Lead Risk Analytics Consultant who has expertise utilizing TM1 OLAP cubes and or/relational database sources with business intelligence platforms. The ideal candidate will have a drive for process improvement, create synergy with internal partners, and is driven by results. In this role, you will: Responsible for the design, development and deployment of multi-dimensional reports using the Cognos Analytics 11.x BI tool set Support Cognos users by troubleshooting report issues and enhancing reports as requested Use SQL and TM1 Tools to analyze source data and investigate and resolve reporting data issues Work directly with business partners to gather report requirements, design and model reporting solutions Consistently collaborate Cognos BI team members on large scale projects and work closely with Cognos Planning Analytics (TM1) team Manage and maintain Cognos PowerPlay Models and Cognos cubes using Transformer builds/deployments Required Qualifications, US: 5+ years of Risk Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Desired Qualifications: 5+ years of overall Cognos BI or Cognos Analytics report development experience 2+ years of experience with dimensional report development within Cognos 7+ years of working in a collaborative team development environment Strong understanding of Data warehouse and business intelligence concepts and best practices Strong understanding of relational database concepts, and ability to write efficient SQL queries Strong understanding of multidimensional cubes and past experience reporting from them Past experience and Strong understanding of reporting using multidimensional cubes Ability to apply ingenuity, innovation, and advanced technical expertise to find solutions to complex business needs within the functionality of the IBM Cognos product set, in addition to developing new design concepts when needed Ability to determine objectives and approaches to projects and operational duties with minimal direction Excellent communications skills and strong interpersonal skills to work with internal customers in achieving effective reporting solutions Must have excellent analytical, conceptual, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills Demonstrate a constant ability to learn quickly and while being flexible and able to adapt to the new developing technologies Ability to handle pressure situations without compromising on quality Strong requirements gathering abilities, and able educate and train users on the capabilities of Cognos BI toolset Experience with Cognos report performance tuning and best practices Additional Qualifications: Experience with all Studios and Tools within Cognos Analytics 11.x series o Event Studio, Analysis Studio, Query Studio, Explorations, Jobs, Dashboards, Stories, Data Modules, Data Sets, etc. o PowerPlay Transformer and PowerPlay cubes o Creating and maintaining Framework Manager models o Familiarity with Cognos security administration Familiarity with Cognos Planning Analytics/TM1 and comfort using TM1 Perspectives or TM1 Architect Experience with other BI tools and & software like Tableau, Business Objects, Power BI, SAS, Python, DataStage, etc. BI report visualizations and dashboard development Familiarity with AGILE methodology Posting Location: Thanks & Regards, Manoj - Technical Recruiter Thought wave Software and Solutions 314 N.
