Data Analyst

Role: IT Data Analyst – NetApp Share Drive

Location:REMOTE Duration: Long-Term Contract

Technical Skills Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel). Experience with data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). Strong attention to detail and statistical analysis knowledge.

Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough reviews of data storage structures to identify data owners and access patterns. Collaborate with stakeholders to document and assess data access requirements. Support engineers in redesigning folder hierarchies to enforce access controls. Monitor and maintain data access integrity across organizational structures. Assist in developing procedures for access provisioning during folder creation. Provide regular status updates on data collection and project progress.

Analytical & Operational Duties Evaluate data, processes, and methodologies using advanced analytical techniques. Present actionable recommendations based on analytical findings with moderate organizational impact. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve procedures and resolve operational issues. Analyze policy and procedural changes to assess implications for team functions. Identify opportunities for process improvement and technological enhancements. Partner with internal teams and vendors to document and fulfill business requirements. Monitor KPIs and implement preventative measures using data-driven insights. Prepare and analyze complex data sets for operational and strategic decision-making. Conduct benchmarking and trend analysis to drive continuous improvement. Develop hypotheses and recommendations based on sophisticated data analysis. Define business problems, evaluate options, and present conclusions for moderately complex scenarios. Contribute to the development of best practices within the functional area. Ensure compliance with IT policies, standards, and industry best practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). Strong understanding of IT policies, procedures, and data governance. Proven experience in delivering IT solutions focused on business intelligence. Advanced analytical, organizational, and time management skills. Excellent communication and presentation abilities across all organizational levels. Experience working in cross-functional teams and mentoring peers. Strong initiative, judgment, and decision-making capabilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or collaboratively. Demonstrated success in translating business requirements into technical solutions.
