Data analyst

Data Analyst 6+ months (plan is to extend indefinitely) Remote – First 2-3 days will be on-site in Richmond, VA for orientation/onboarding, and then fully remote after that Interview: 1 round interview, 30min virtual. Interview times: Friday (8/9) morning every 30min from 8am EST – 12pm EST Must Haves: 4+ years experience minimum in the following: Data Analytics Data Modeling PowerBI SQL Star Schema SQL databases (any mixture of SQL server/oracle/cybase, etc.) 1-2 years in the following: ETL Master Data Management Python SSIS/SSRS/SSAS Nice to haves: Exposure to AI – GenAI, Chatbots, etc. Machine Learning Navicat *manager will HEAVILY prioritize anyone with AI experience Job Description: Designs, develops, implements, and supports complex/extensive computer applications in compliance with agency’s Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) guidelines. Supports and adheres to established project management and quality policies and standards to ensure user requirements are met. Provides senior level project/application expertise with respect to managing and supporting data analytics, data aggregation, dataset creation, star schema management, artificial intelligence support and machine learning. Knowledgeable of system design/architecture, highly proficient in SQL coding, SSIS/SSAS/SSRS support and data modeling. Assists with software design documents and diagrams. Familiar with agile development methodologies. Provides project leadership, estimates, technical training, and technical guidance to agency staff.
