About the role
Role: Data Analyst/Snowflake Developer
Location: 100% Remote Duration: 6+ months
Technical Skills: • Cloud Technologies: Snowflake, AWS, Microsoft Azure, Databricks • Database: DB2, Oracle 11g/10g/, SQL Server 2016/2012/2008, Teradata. • Languages: SQL, Python, PL/SQL • Tools: SQL developer, TOAD, Putty, Autosys, SQL Loader (Oracle), SQL Plus, Airflow, SnowSQL, SnowPipe
Job Responsibilities: • Planning and Strategizing Data Migration from SQL server to Snowflake. • Refactoring of existing SQL server code, Views SQL to be compatible with Snowflake. • Create roles and privileges for various data loads. • Enable data sharing between various Snowflake environments. • ETL pipelines in and out of Datawarehouse using Python and Snow SQL. • Create Internal and External Stages to transform data during data loads. • Create SQL views for new Business needs, enhancements. • Monitoring and optimizing Snowflake performance. • Understanding of concepts like Timetravel, fail safe, zero copy cloning, data sharing, micro-partitioning etc.
