Responsibilities

• Daily Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders (data architects, enterprise architecture, solution architecture, project management, etc.) in producing sound data architecture deliverables including concepts and models • Recommend, document, and support delivery of pragmatic data architecture that fulfills specific business requirements while addressing major architectural concerns, such as performance, scalability, data quality and data privacy • Maintain alignment with enterprise strategy, reference architecture, architecture principles and other guidelines produced by the Architecture Office • Maintain enterprise model(s) and act as domain expert for two or more data domains • Create target and future state models for data in motion and data at rest • Partner with API, web service and data integration teams to design data contracts and schemes for integration (internal and external) • Provide leadership in ongoing development and improvement of data architecture practice • Other duties as assigned

Candidate Profile:

Qualifications (years of experience in field)

• 5+ years leading requirement elicitation, analysis and design of data concepts and data models • 3+ years of experience with service-oriented and domain-driven design • 3+ years of experience with canonical and message modeling • Working knowledge of HL7, NCPDP or other healthcare information exchange standard • Experience with PBM and/or health care domain (claim, drug, provider, network, contract) • Experience leveraging and applying industry standards in support of B2B integrations (API, file, EDI) • Experience with Scaled Agile framework

Technologies:

• ER/Studio modeling tools • Pega Platform • Cloudera or other Big Data distributions • Denodo data virtualization • Web Services and APIs (JSON, XML, XSD)

Top 3 Resume “must haves”:

• 3+ years of service-oriented architecture experience working with Applications, Data, Services and APIs projects • 2+ years Development of canonical and messaging models (XML and/or JSON) leveraging industry standard such as HL7 FHIR • Experience with data governance & data quality practice
