About the role
Role :Data Architect Duration :4 months Location : Ohio Required Skills : - Snowflake (Database) - Cloud & On-prem (not concerned with which cloud platform but Azure is what they use) - Know different database types (NoSQL, Transactional, Analytical, Searchable) o Preference for Oracle on-prem experience and then Azure DBs for cloud side - Understand CI/CD pipelining into the tools (move from a SQL to NoSQL instance) Understanding of data lifecycle and areas (data structures, data ingestion, data pipelines, databases, etc.) Nice to haves/Preferred Skills: - Machine learning (that’s great but not a primary focus so don’t want someone just more here) Other technologies they have: Azure Purview, Collibra (Data Management), Tableau, PowerBI -Oracle Cloud Basic Qualifications : - Snowflake (Database) - Cloud & On-prem (not concerned with which cloud platform but Azure is what they use) - Know different database types (NoSQL, Transactional, Analytical, Searchable) o Preference for Oracle on-prem experience and then Azure DBs for cloud side - Understand CI/CD pipelining into the tools (move from a SQL to NoSQL instance) Understanding of data lifecycle and areas (data structures, data ingestion, data pipelines, databases, etc.) Additional Skills : - Machine learning (that’s great but not a primary focus so don’t want someone just more here) Other technologies they have: Azure Purview, Collibra (Data Management), Tableau, PowerBI Job Description : Experience in Schema design (analytical and transactional databases) Experience in SQL and No SQL databases. Experience in any cloud Platform and basic infrastructure knowledge. Experience in Searchable data stores like SOLR, Elastic or other SaaS products Ability to articulate the pros/cons of database choices. Experience in using Business Intelligence tools (Power BI/Tableau) Experience in database CI/CD Frameworks. Experience in using reverse engineering tools to break complex databases and generate ERD diagrams. Experience in using Data Catalog tools.
