About the role
Position: Streaming Engineer Location: Remote Duration:6Months
JD: • Project is in initial state, POC, this will be an individual contributor/Senior Developer role • Some relational databases, Oracle and NoSQL + Cassandra • Building Apache Flink core engine cross multiple data points, source data from databases, APIs, applications, etc. and load into Kafka, captures as an event and publishes to big data platform specialized for streaming analytics. • Needs core Apache Flink experience, biggest need is building out pipelines and frameworks in Flink that are consumed by Kafka • Building real-time streaming applications in Java (Scala is also okay). Who has worked and managed streaming applications. • Airflow, Apache Storm nice to have. • Looking for experience in enterprise/large environments. Fraud use cases very nice to have
Must Haves: • Apache Flink • Java or Scala • Kafka • Experience building real-time data streaming applications
