Role:Data Engineer
Duration:5 months Location:100% Remote
Required Skills : Complex SQL, Snowflake, SSRS, SSIS, ETL
Job Description : ·Advanced (7+ years) experience with SQL and stored procedures in a data warehouse environment ·Advanced (7+ years) experience building data pipelines and workflows using ETL tools like SSIS/Talend ·Hands-on experience creating dimensional data models supporting a self-service reporting and dashboarding environment. ·Hands-on experience building data warehouses and data marts with cloud databases such as Snowflake, Redshift, Oracle ADW, Azure SQL Server ·Hands-on experience with Data Lake and Data Warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling ·Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Responsibility ·As an engineer on the BI team, this position is responsible for the development & support of our BI solutions. ·Develop transformation logics to load the dimensional models. ·Develop design, and build large, shared datasets in snowflake for consumption by business. ·Support and maintain the existing data warehouse/ data marts implemented. ·Develop and enhance logging, metrics, and alerts that enable us to ensure our data is fresh and accurate for internal and external stakeholders. ·Liaise with offshore teams and onshore for resolving technical dependencies, issues, and risks.
