Job details: Role : Data Engineer REMOTE POSITION 6 month + contract

Pyton, Pyspark, Apache Spark, Hadoop & ETL

The Data Engineer will join our client's Corporate Treasury Technology organization to support the Global Risk and Compliance (GRC) team. The primary focus of the GRC team will be to build upon their horizon scanning capabilities, continuously develop the law library, and ensure risk is identified, categorized, and mitigated properly. The Technical lead will be instrumental in supporting and executing these initiatives.

Responsibilities

• • Lead the development of data streams • Continuous development of GRC data lake in cloudera • Perform logical and physical data modeling • Support the development of data visualizations using powerBI

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in: data modeling/database design experience; database administration; and impact analysis of data structure changes. • 5+ years of logical and physical data modeling in an enterprise environment • 5+ years of logical and physical modeling utilizing a major data modeling tool. • Looking for data scientist with SQL, Microsoft PowerBI, and cloudera experience • Hadoop stack and spark experience • Experience with DevOps tools including Jenkins, Chef, and Ansible puppet
