Data Engineer

· Create Cosmos Streams and write scope queries to read and extract data from Cosmos

· Write Kusto queries to create Power BI and Geneva dashboards

· Author data ETL pipelines on Azure SQL Database

· Build dashboards and reports using Power BI, Geneva Analytics, App Insights, xPerts and other data visualization tools

· Own Technical design of components with overall systems view.

· Own and maintain source code according to standards.

· Collaborate with engineers and PMs to provide technical oversight, ensure clarity and right results are being met.

· Implement data processing and monitoring standards to address data latency & data quality.

· Ensure the BI solutions are stable, supportable, extensible, and trusted by our business partners.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

· 5+ years’ experience in developing on Azure SQL database, Azure Analysis Services, Data Factory, Event Hubs, Stream Analytics, Power BI, Geneva, and Cosmos

· 5+ years’ experience in developing on DAX, ETL using Microsoft BI stack, SSIS, SSAS

· In-depth knowledge and ability to build data pipelines from, on-prem data sources, blob storages to Azure SQL database

· Development experience in Big Data platforms, Azure Cosmos DB, .Net, C# is a huge plus.

· Exposure to Kusto, R, Python, Azure Machine Learning or similar languages is a huge plus.

· An attention to detail with self-discipline and a drive for results.

· Demonstrated ability to work in ambiguous situations and across organizational boundaries.

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or closely related field is required
