About the role
Title : Data Engineer Contract through May 2021/ FTE/ C2H Location : St. Paul, MN (Onsite in MN after COVID) Duration : 12 months
Preferred Qualifications
• Previous experience as a Data Engineer, or related field. • 4 year degree in Computer Science or related field • Technical skills o Experience with tools and concepts related to data and analytics, such as dimensional modeling, ETL, reporting tools, data warehousing, structured and unstructured data. o ETL experience – Informatica, StreamSets o Data validation and cleansing o ANSI SQL Skills/Experience o Exposure and experience with traditional and modern data architectures o Database architecture experience o Cloud knowledge and experience (modeling and data engineering) – AWS preferred • Soft skills o Experience working with business users to analyze requirements and design solutions that meet their needs. o Strong problem solving and analytical abilities o Attention to detail o Solid communication skills o Willingness to learn • Nice to have skills • Spark/Python/Java development experience • Report development experience - Business Objects, Tableau • XML/XSD/DTD/JSON/ • Agile experience
