Role: Data Engineer, Location: 100% Remote, Duration: LongTerm , Requirements: Project Details: This team does a lot of work around many different types of data from various sources so they are looking for a data engineering with experience in big data to help on data engineering Experience in big data with Hadoop & Spark is critical They work on various different DBs so strong SQL and Python experience is required Daily Responsibilities: Write scripts to pull & merge data Work with data models Write queries & stored procedures Work with Spark and Scala Required Qualifications: 5+years of experience overall 3+ years of coding experience with Spark and Scala 3+ years of experience developing software solutions to solve complex business problems Hands-on AWS experience SQL Experience working with Big data Preferred Qualifications: Financial industry experience Java Python Thanks & Regards Syam B, 630-923-6952 syam@thoughtwavesoft.com
