About the role
Role: Data Modeler Location Des Moines, IA 100% remote possible 12+ months, multiyear project. We are building a high performing Data Services Scrum Team sit within Wellmark’s Data shared service environment and support a large multi-year 4+ scrum team build application initiative. We will be integrating a 3rd Party Rating Engine into our Application and must pull data from Integration Data Hub, CRM and several other Data sources. Apex is the implementation partner for this project. Team will be a share Scrum Master from our build integration team, 5 Informatica Cloud Leads, Data Modeler, Data Analyst Offshore Lead and offshore developers. Selling Points/Prjoect Joining established High Performing Team on a successful on track project Will sit on Client Core Program team, help with strategy planning and be responsible for delivery Oversee scaling of additional teams Get to be on the ground floor and shape build/delivery in the latest technologies MEAN Stack, Agile, AWS, TDD/SDNT Team oriented and get feel part of Apex and Wellmark Required: Power Center (or Erwin), Redshift Modeling, JSON Document Modeling (strong nice to have) Prefer: snowflake, MongoDB, Dynamo, Aurora, S3, Lambda EC2, Kinesis, API Gateway, SNS, SQS, Cloud Watch, Shield, Cloud Front Really looking for someone with Logical and physical modeling looking for someone with Erwin or Power designer understanding modeling and industry standards NoSQL -> Snowflake and Redshift Physical side – a lot of non-relational data stores they are working with, Mongo, Dynamo Document stores Modeling things like JSON (critical) Typically JSON modeled Data Objects Redshift would be great any RDS or Aurora technologies would be great Thanks & Regards Syam B, 630-923-6952 syam@thoughtwavesoft.com
