About the role
Role:Data Scientist
Duration:6 month + contract Location:Remote
Principal Data Scientist
Advanced degree (Ph.D. or Master's) in Computer Science, Statistics, Electrical Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in data science, with a focus on healthcare applications in cloud. Proven track record in designing and implementing AI solutions, with a portfolio of successful projects in healthcare automation and decision support. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java, and familiarity with relevant frameworks and libraries. Extensive experience in full-stack development, including front-end and back-end technologies, to create end-to-end AI solutions. Expertise in machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch, Experience using AWS infrastructure and tools such as lambdas, Sagemaker, for scaling Proven experience working within or contributing to an AI Center of Excellence. Ability to lead and mentor teams, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration. Expertise in developing and implementing machine learning algorithms for decision automation in healthcare workflows. Demonstrated success in building recommendation systems aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Experience in designing and implementing model bias detection mechanisms. Familiarity with ethical AI principles and governance frameworks to ensure responsible and fair AI practices. Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, software developers, and healthcare professionals. Strong commitment to staying updated on the latest advancements in data science and AI in healthcare. Proactive approach to identifying and implementing innovative solutions to address emerging challenges. Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive projects from conception to implementation. Strong communication skills to convey complex AI concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proven problem-solving abilities in complex, dynamic environments.
I do NOT need someone with AI Speech or AI Vision experience I need someone w/ Models (textract), cloud (AWS), scalability (Lambdas & Sagemaker), model governance and regulated frameworks (TensorFlow or PyTorch) experience Healthcare experience is required Need to have Director level experience Need to have a strong hands on background with hands on full stack development with Python
