About the role
Role- Databricks Engineer Duration- 2 Months Location- Remote Required Skills : Datawarehousing and ETL Azure Data Factory/databricks Good soft skills Analyze business requirements and need behind it Basic Qualifications : Additional Skills : SAS - need one to have this exp Powerbi Experience with Azure Synapse, Apache Spark, Python – things that may or not get implemented or used Project: Migrating reporting from a legacy system using SAS to using Azure Data Factory, Databricks with excel / PowerBI outputs Sunsetting Netizza supporting by IBM. Bunch of SAS in this program and need to replace reports Azure data factory, PowerBI. No SAS in the future, so need to get off of this. SAS is a very nice to have 2000 hours of coding Done by June 30th. Then testing and Team: These two roles will work with 3 Onshore and potentially 2 Offshore resources and 1 project manager. Responsibilities Work with offshore to understand existing SAS coding Understand data structure in new Azure environment Understand needs of internal customers for reports Convert SAS reports to Azure data factory and databricks with excel and PowerBI outputs Required 5+ years with data warehousing and ETL Experience with Azure data factory and databricks Excellent communication skills Excellent Teamwork skills Preferred/Optional SAS coding experience / Knowledge (one role it will be required, for one preferred) (Must have for 1, nice to have for the other) PowerBI experience Experience with Azure Synapse, Apache Sparq, Python -- ---- Thanks & Regards, Tejash - Technical Recruiter Thought wave Software and Solutions 314 N.
