About the role
Role: DataBricks SME
Duration: 6+ months Location: Remote
Databricks SME: Currently not building out everything correctly in Databricks. Need someone to come in and help standardize processes and best practices. Will also be responsible for building new processes in databricks, building out diagrams and presenting. Moving some AWS Redshift over to databricks – this is in flight Also migrating Datastage/Informatica jobs over to databricks as well Looking at utilizing Databricks Professional Services for help going forward with this role

Prior exp building out Data Lakes Databricks SME Databricks SME Needs to be hands on Doesn’t need to have data modeling Needs to understand medallion architecture – bronze, silver, gold Running jobs, doing admin work, setting up clusters, etc. Needs to have a few integrations under their belt Must have AWS
