About the role
Title: DataPower Admin Location: Remote Duration: 6+ months This is an overnight role. Hours will be from 10pm – 6amEST. THIS IS NOT A DEVELOPER ROLE. They need an admin. Please do not send developers. We have a meeting with the manager on Monday to set interviews. Project Scope / Components: • Support API connect power across the enterprise for multiple different environments • Large environment and projects Team Size & Breakdown: • New team being build out under this director • 25 on overall team High-Level Individual Duties: 30-60-90-day plans for this? • Responsible for the platform and operational support of API Connect and DataPower. • Plan, build, and support API Connect and DataPower in various formats. • Focus on operational stability in a complex environment supporting critical business areas. • Create and use dashboards, reports, and monitoring tools for system health. • Involved in root cause analysis and implementing best practices. • Support a rotating 24x7 on-call schedule and perform after-hours changes. • Manage the system form the infrastructure side of things • Support and troubleshoot the issues, Network issues seem to be most common • Get into the device and do the work • Ability to think outside of the box Must-Haves (Concepts & Tools): • API Connect, API Connect v10 • Troubleshooting and supporting issues • Working on the network related issues • Needing deep level DataPower and API experience – configuration of the tools across the enterprise • We need to have a strong infrastructure background here Nice to Have: • Experience with APIC and DataPower on OpenShift, Kubernetes, or Cloud Pak for Integration • Automation skills (Python, Shell, Ansible etc.)** v. nice to have • Azure • Proficiency in dashboarding, reporting, and alerting tools like Splunk. • THIS IS NOT A DEVOPS ENGINEER – these are only nice to haves – do not need to have developer background -- -- Thanks & Regards, Krishnasree | US IT Recruiter Thought wave software and solutions 314 N, Lake St, Suite 6, Aurora IL 60506 Mobile:6305668710 Email: krishnasree@thoughtwavesoft.com Website: www.thoughtwavesoft.com LinkedIn: linkedin.com/in/krishnasree-kolla-7582a01a3
