About the role
Title: DBA Location: Remote Duration: 6 Months Contract: W2 Visa: USA, GC only on EST Timings
Job Description CANDIDATES MUST WORK EST HOURS Why is this position open? Project Details – Size, Scale, Scope? Looking for an AWS Redshift DBA. They will be doing administration of clusters. Not looking for someone who has simply ran queries in Redshift, needing someone that can manage the large AWS environment completely. They must have deep understanding of the environment and administering in redshift. Needing an understanding of AWS services in general- specifically access management and administration management. Typically, they will write scripts in python, but other languages are ok as well. 3+ years of experience with AWS redshift is ok. Day to Day Responsibilities/typical day look like: Administration management Writing management scripts on the clusters Managing redshift environment completely What are the top 3 MUST HAVE technologies or Required experience of the position? 3+ years on experience with AWS Redshift Scripting- python is preferred but ok with a diff language AWS- access management and administration management
