About the role
Role- DevOps Engineer Duration- 6 Months Location- McLean, VA (Hybrid - Onsite in McLean on Tuesdays, Wednesday and Thursday) Required Skills: CICD Tech Stack - Jenkins is the primary tool. AWS and Groovy are also mandatory. OCP is preferred. Must Haves: CICD Tech Stack - Jenkins is the primary tool. AWS and Groovy are also mandatory. OCP is preferred. * Experienced in the process of supporting and customizing Jira to meet the needs of diverse groups of developers and stakeholders across enterprise environment * Possesses developer skill sets with an agile-first approach and deep empathy for surrounding developers and partnered engineering teams. * Has familiarity with IT Service Management tools for Change Control practices with tools such as ServiceNow * Demonstrated experience in working with both APIs and writing scripts with tooling such as; JQL within Atlassian products, bash or Python. Familiarity or experience with Groovy. * Experienced in building, solutioning, developing and releasing cloud-centric solutions in multiple technologies (AWS, Azure, Google) * Experienced with code quality, code coverage, security scan (SAST/DAST) scanning tools * Experience with code and release management tools (e.g. Git, Bitbucket, CI/CD, Helm, Spinnaker, Jenkins, Jira) * Support the development of standards, guidelines, governance practices for both CI/CD operations and for work of developers * Understanding of the full Software Development Lifecycle, building CI/CD pipelines and practicing Test Driven Development (TDD) * Strong technical understanding & expertise of the tools utilized in the DevOps space; Bitbucket, Git, Jenkins, Spinnaker, Helm, and Docker * Possesses strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and technical capabilities under the CI/CD umbrella to support the Development Team when challenges encountered * Demonstrates the initiative to explore alternate technology and approaches to solving problems * Work with cross-functional teams to deliver features and products * Work with teammates to solidify the solution & design for key capabilities scoped for development to deliver to the customer base -- ---- Thanks & Regards, Tejash - Technical Recruiter Thought wave Software and Solutions 314 N.
