targeting DevOps Engineers with the following skills

Strong troubleshooting skills in both AWS and GCP Strong experience in Kubernetes Scripting and automation skills using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

As a DevOps Engineer at [Your Company Name], you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our shared GCP/AWS environments and critical services. You will be part of the team responsible for transforming our infrastructure, addressing issues related to shared environments, single-region dependencies, and inconsistent Kubernetes (K8s) environments. Your primary focus will be on optimizing our systems for performance, reliability, and security while contributing to the establishment of a standardized "golden path" for our platform initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

Shared vs. Separate Environments: Identify critical services/verticals within shared GCP/AWS accounts/environments. Work on migrating identified services to the established "golden path" to mitigate risks associated with shared environments. Collaborate with the platform initiative to align services with best practices and reduce dependencies on shared resources. Single Region Dependencies: Address issues related to services residing in a single Region, ensuring fault tolerance and resilience against regional failures. Implement strategies for multi-region redundancy to minimize downtime and enhance the overall availability of critical services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct failure scenario analyses and develop robust solutions for single-region dependencies. Inconsistent K8s Environments: Assess and document inconsistencies in Kubernetes (K8s) environments across different verticals. Collaborate with vertical-specific teams to standardize K8s deployments based on the established "golden path" defined by the platform initiative. Implement and enforce best practices, ensuring security, reliability, and ease of updates across all K8s environments.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role. Hands-on experience with GCP/AWS and expertise in managing shared environments. Strong knowledge of Kubernetes (K8s) and experience addressing inconsistencies in deployment approaches. Familiarity with multi-region strategies, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery planning. Scripting and automation skills using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
