Devops Engineer

Role- DevOps Engineer Duration- 12 Months Location- Dallas, TX Required Skills Must Haves: Kubernetes and Containerization. AWS Services EC2, S3, Lambda, EMR, IAM cloud formation, Terraform. This is a customer facing role, so 10/10 communication is required - someone outgoing would be a good fit. • Schedule: On Call rotation - Once every 5 or 6 weeks, on call for one week - Any on call support would be able to be flexed during the pay period and wouldn't be overtime. Basic Qualifications: • 8+ years of overall information technology experience with a 2+ year emphasis on integration and delivery of public cloud • 3 +years of experience with AWS core services like EC2, S3, Lambda, EMR, IAM cloud formation, Terraform, or similar tools • 4 +years of experience with Kubernetes and Containerization Technologies (Kubernetes, AWS(EKS) etc) at scale • Experience with Python, Ansible and shell scripting to automate routine operation tasks. • Ability to provide 24x7 operational support on periodic basis and triage complex issues to restore availability • Documentation of Engineering Solutions and Designs • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, engineering, computer science, related field or equivalent experience. The candidate should be able to drive implementation and enhancement of tools and technologies for enterprise adoption in accordance with operational and security standards.
