Devops/Storage engineer Remote The Expertise You Have A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Economics or Advanced Mathematics; or equivalent experience Demonstrable ability to work with a small team to develop rapid solutions Proven track record designing and implementing Web Applications (Single Page App preferred) and RESTful APIs Experience in Single Page Applications using modern frameworks such as Angular (version 8 or higher) Experience with Java and using frameworks such as Spring Boot to develop RESTful APIs Experience with AWS cloud environment development and deployment is preferred Experience with Jenkins is preferred Experience with Python development is nice to have, specifically experience with Flask (or Django) The Skills You Bring Are forward-thinking, highly motivated and self-starting, able to work efficiently on independent assignments Are a great teammate Can provide guidance and mentorship to the other engineers on the team, specifically for the front end Can recognize and generalize solutions to recurring problems Know how to use CI/CD effectively Have validated hands-on experience developing web services using Java, as well as consuming them in a Web App Familiarity with the multi asset class domain and/or financial investment in general is a plus
