DOCUMENTUM DEVELOPER

Role: Sr. Documentum Developer

Location:100% Remote Duration:6 months contract (with potential for extension)

experience working with both Documentum and Intelligent Capture, doing hands on programming with Java and .Net.

Requirements for the Position

• Team does Documentum and Intelligent Capture, Data APIs, with strong coding experience in Java, intelligent capture is the base and the services are built on intelligent capture (born of opentext), they are more windows environments. Also use a tool called Magellan which does a lot of data mining.

• Need someone with Documentum coding and how they have worked in a broader, enterprise team.

• Needs someone who can operate as a lead and understand the needs from a higher need, but also who is hands on and who has the coding experience and not an administrative capacity.

• Healthcare and financial exposure preferred.

• Having strong conceptual understanding- understanding processes and clear communication and proper documentation. They will give ownership of certain initiative to people and the team will respond accordingly.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or related field Documentum certifications would be a big plus. At least 2+ years of experience in the support of Documentum platform solutions. At least 5+ years of experience in the development of Documentum platform solutions. At least 4+ years of extensive development on Documentum D2. At least 2+ years of experience working with Documentum repository security models. At least 3+ years of working with Documentum 16.4 or later versions. At least 2+ years of experience with Documentum application layer, platform layer and Integration layer security. At least 2+ years of experience in the Design and engineering of Documentum platform solutions. At least 5+ years of experience with Core Java programming building highly scalable and secure modules. Prior hands on experience with Documentum platform upgrades and re-architecture projects would be a huge plus. Prior hands on experience with Documentum Migration projects would be a big plus also. Good fundamental knowledge on Java design patterns like singleton and factory models. Hands on experience with Java Spring boot, maven frameworks Hands on experience with unix\windows shell scripting. Hands on experience with Oracle,SQL & Postgres DBs Strong understanding of REST/SOAP protocols and XML/JSON data exchange. Hands on experience implementing encryption at rest and encryption in transit methodologies. Good fundamental knowledge on Cloud computing preferably AWS and SAAS,PAAS and IAAS models Familiar with API development practices on preferably Apigee and related configurations Familiar with DevSecOps good practices and basic pipeline flow and related tools like gitlab,ansible,nexus and their related configurations Familiar with Terraform for Cloud Infrastructure automation. Familiar with Database As A Service concepts Familiar with AWS S3 storage concepts. Familiar with Cloud security and IAM models preferably AWS. Experience in Agile Software Development projects. Experience with banking domain and its stringent requirements around Data Privacy, PII requirements is preferred

Desired Skills:

Good attitude to work in team environment with peer SMEs Excellent problem solving/analytical skills. Excellent troubleshooting experience with multi-layered systems and integrations. Good presentation, verbal, and written communication skills. Self-motivated, able to work independently, and able to take initiative without always being directed. Ability to prioritize the most critical tasks as needed in a fast paced environment. Ability to contribute to multiple diverse ongoing initiatives effectively.
