About the role
Title: Embedded Software Engineer Duration: 12 months Location: (Remote till covid) Mossville, IL 61552 Candidate Responsibilities The individual hired for this position will work as part of an engineering team to design, develop, integrate, and test software features for machine applications running on embedded electronic controls. Job responsibilities include: • Machine software feature development • Script based tools development • Integration of software features taken from models and libraries to create software flash files • Integration of configuration and calibration data • Test plan development and software validation • Identification and resolution of software defects • Software reviews Education: • (required) Four-year Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited engineering college or university • (desired) Four-year Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science Technical Skills: • (required) Three or more years of experience in embedded C software development • (required) Experience with Python development for PC scripts/tools • (required) Working knowledge of embedded real time operating systems • (required) Experience with embedded software development tools such as Git, ClearCase, debuggers, and compilers • (desired) Experience designing and developing embedded software based on the AUTOSAR framework • (desired) Experience with Google Test or other automated software test packages • (desired) Experience with GCC • (desired) Experience with datalinks (CAN/Ethernet) • (desired) Experience with FMEA processes and a basic knowledge of electronic system failure modes • (desired) Experience developing embedded real-time software or systems for mobile, earthmoving, agricultural, industrial, or off-highway applications Soft Skills: • Strong communication skills, strong organizational and time management skills, strong analytical skills, and the ability to identify needed actions and act to resolve issues with minimal oversight • Ability to work effectively with a culturally diverse work group Nilesh Reddy Sr Recruiter Recruitment | Thought wave soft Direct number : 6302969663 Extension : 142 Nilesh@thoughtwavesoft.com www.thoughtwavesoft.com 314 N.
