Embedded Software Engineer

Job Title: Embedded Software Engineer Duration: 12 months Location: Mossville, IL 61552 Candidate Responsibilities Battery Monitoring System Software and Integration. This position is for a software engineer focused on battery monitoring systems.  This position will have the following responsibilities:  • Develop software features to meet the requirements for the client’s Battery Monitoring System. Document requirements for the features.  • Develop test plans for testing of the features requirements.  • Unit test of the software for the features developed.  • Work with test engineers to test and debug new software features.  • Give consideration to the integration impacts of designed features.  • Assess ability of software to run on intended platform. Technical Skills Required • 3+ years of Embedded SW development System Integration experience using an embedded controller. Ability to work in a team environment. • Preferred Experience: 3+ years Experience developing new features for batteries. Datalink experience (CDL, CAN, Modbus) GIT experience Soft Skills Required • Teamwork, communication, and documentation Export Control: Yes Typical Day Review customer requirements, discuss with team, and develop feature library based on requirements. Pull SW feature into GIT build, and develop test plan to assist in testing of feature on HIL test bench against requirements. Candidate will be remote until post-COVID, at which time candidate will be required to be on-site. Education Requirement BS or MS in EE
