ENGINEER

Role:Cyber Security Engineering.

Duration:12 months Location:Remote

Cyber Security Engineering team is looking for assistance in building out an internal application, heavily reliant on MongoDB. The application is meant to correlate asset data across various telemetry sources, along with vulnerability data, and provide a secured front-end to end users. We are looking for an extensible model, where authorization based on LDAP groups will drive assigned roles and limited views of the data. This role is more focused on data onboarding, cleansing, and correlating across a myriad of datasets. Vulnerability datasets will need to be normalized and harmonized across multiple tools, and correlations across various asset telemetry datasets are required for success. The end goal is to create a single pane of glass for assets and vulnerabilities, and this role will operate at the data layer.

Responsibilities

•  Develop scripts to bring in data into Cribl/S3  Develop scripts to route data outputs from the pipelines into MongoDB  Parse and extract fields into normalized, agreed upon

• Experience: Experience developing custom Python scripts to pull data from REST APIs & other sources. Experience performing data cleaning/normalization of JSON data. Experience working in document databases Must have experience in MongoDB
