About the role
Role:Application Architect
Location:100% Remote Duration:12 Months
Must-Have Skills: Enterprise Architect BG, Data Architecture is a large gap (ex Cosmos DB vs something else or how to use graph technology and implement into an Enterprise platform) Breadth of experience in different technologies, Rules Engine BPM & Chatbot (AI/ML), Cloud Architecture (multi-cloud, but Azure is the most beneficial), Security, DevOps, Services / UI builds (platform specific), Automation,
Responsibilities
• Design strategic platform architectures to meet business objectives, while also aligning with Optum Technology and the Health Care Platform • Collaborate with the business to understand/influence business requirements • Maintain knowledge of current and emerging technologies/products/trends related to architectural solutions • Collaborate with enterprise architects to gain buy-in and support for strategic platform components. • Ensure best practices are followed • Define architectures, guidelines, patterns, roadmaps, and other collateral to enable delivery teams to transition to future state architectures and implementations • Work with delivery team architects and relevant business stakeholders in understanding key business requirements and develop strategic architectures to meet that need
Required skills: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience • 6+ years of experience in a software engineering or architect role • Experience in domain-specific architecture concepts and emerging technologies • Experience leading through influence in a large, matrixed, global environment • Experience working with matrix teams including teams in different time zones • Experience in delivering enterprise architectures • Experience creating architectures and platforms and influencing development teams, business users, and management in the adoption of technical solutions
