About the role
Role: Enterprise Application Engineer
Duration: 6 Months Contract to Hire Location: Cincinnati, OH Job Description: Basic Qualifications: • Knowledge in Agile and Product Management concepts and methodology • Enthusiastic to find ways to make customers successful • Ability to work well within small team focused on rapid delivery of results • Passionate about continuously learning and able to quickly adapt and pivot to win in dynamic environment • Comfortable with empowering colleagues and inspiring others to be their best • Ability to deliver results in a rapidly changing dynamic environment • Challenges conventional thinking and traditional ways of operating and invites stakeholders to identify issues and opportunities. Knowledge in Agile and collaboration tools including but not limited to: • Rally • Aha • Confluence • Knowledge in general technology systems including but not limited to: • Microsoft Office (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.) Other Examples: • Knowledge in Business Intelligence technologies such as Big Data and ETL. • Industry standard technology skills (i.e. personal computer skills, OS familiarity, Web, etc.) • Strong organizational, written and oral communication skills • Ability to work under rigid deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Adept at making quick and sound priority decisions • Ability to follow documented, well defined processes • Reliable and committed • Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college OR Associates degree with minimum of 3 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 5 years of professional experience Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience • Use of UFUNC and NX-Open APIs for development of custom CAD applications, with focus on architecting reusable code components with good knowledge of .NET & MFC. • Good hands-on exposure to NX-Open API development with NX manager, ITK / SOA programming. • Strong knowledge of C / C++ & C#. • Good knowledge of various NX modules like Modelling, Assemblies, Drafting. • Basic knowledge of Teamcenter. • Good knowledge of scripting languages e.g., CGI, Perl, Python • Good hands-on exposure working with IDE (Visual Studio, Eclipse) • Ability to translate design intent into NX-Open API program in a TC integrated environment. • Ability to work across multiple time zones • Ability to attend project status calls and report on status Qualifications: • Knowledge of Model Based Design, CAD/PLM software technologies and Manufacturing concepts. • Basic knowledge of Computational Geometry concepts/application. • Basic understanding of Teamcenter Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) configuration and customization. • Understanding of SCRUM process and AGILE way of working. • Knowledge of SDLC processes and test-driven development • Basic understanding of database technologies, SQL, Spotfire and other visualization tools • Skilled level expertise in design of cloud solutions to meet business application system qualities. • Understands technical and business discussions relative to future architecture direction aligning with business goals. • Understands concepts of software deployments and configurations • Familiar with automation techniques and tools. • Understands how to adapt applications on cloud computing platforms to drive cloud adoption. • Understand key cross-functional concepts that impact the organization; is aware of business priorities and organizational dynamics. • Delivers tasks on-time with alignment to architectural goals. • Can identify and raise issues, risks, and benefits. • Participates in change initiatives by implementing new directions and providing appropriate information and feedback. • Applies values, policies, procedures, and precedent to make timely, routine decisions of limited, clear choice. • Resolves day-to-day issues related to strategy implementation. • Escalates issues that impact the client and/or strategic initiatives. • Reacts open-mindedly to new perspectives or ideas. • Considers different or unusual solutions when appropriate.
