About the role
Role: Sr ETL Data Engineer
Location: 100% Remote Duration: 18months Top requirements: 10+ years of Experience Minimum Previous Banking or financials Informatica is a must Lead ETL/Informatica Data Engineer to join our team. As part of our consulting services practice, we'll be addressing a project backlog of development requests resulting from increased marketing promotions. We’ll be reducing this backlog and supporting the completion of projects to drive monetary value to our client and/or to support compliance driven requirements. Requirements: Proficient in Informatica PowerCenter Strong SQL development skills against Oracle Proven ability to communication with business stakeholders to refine technical / ETL requirements. Candidates must be capable of leading ETL/Informatica development efforts through the entire SDLC, including the following: Gather requirements from business stakeholders through JAD sessions Create technical design specifications Perform Database Design and ETL Design / Development using Informatica Display knowledge of Business Intelligence, Data Analytics and Data Warehousing. Ability to drive data quality efforts and validate data is transformed correctly based on business rules Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to address production support issues Proven ability to perform complex data analysis and data modeling. Technical environment includes, but is not limited to: Netezza, Informatica, Oracle, Mainframe, Automic Applications Manager, Shell Scripting and SQL
