ETL Developer

Role: Sr. ETL Developer

Company: Charter Communications Location: Charlotte, NC (Need to be onsite from day 1) Duration: 12 Months

W2 Only. During COVID it’s REMOTE

Senior Database/ETL Developer:

• Hands-on experience and deep understanding (5+ years) of data transformation using SQL, Stored procedures, triggers, UDFs using Teradata • Experience in data warehousing architecture and concept (e.g. 3NF, Dimensional model, Snowflake, etc.) • Hands-on experience and ability to modify database tables, indexes, stored procedures and perform advanced queries to troubleshoot data issues • Experience in Unix Shell scripting development • Experience with scheduling tools (e.g. One Automation, Tidal, etc.) • Ability to work on multiple simultaneous projects and work streams • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements • Work collaboratively with the team during sprints to ensure technical obstacles are removed and deliverables are achieved • Propose optimizations to current code to improve maintainability and test-ability • Build new, and update existing, unit tests • Actively participate in an experienced development team using agile development practices
