ETL developer Remote McLean, VA (100% remote EST hours) Main things we need are here: 6+ years of ETL development experience 4+ years with Tableau and Cognos (Alteryx is a plus) 4+ years of experience with Data Modeling and Reporting (they need to do this themselves and not send to a data modeling team) Retail experience in their most recent positions is HUGE Job Description: Technical skills - Senior developer with experience in ETL processes, Data Modelling and Enterprise Reporting (Specifically Cognos, Alteryx, and Tableau) Ability to capture and evaluate business requirements for creating a technical design for a solid solution that adheres to best practices Experience designing and developing dashboards and/or reports for various levels of the business from senior leadership to end users Experience in data normalization, creating relationship models, writing complex queries, database triggers, stored procedure, etc. Detail Oriented, Independent and able to thrive in a fast paced environment Industry/functional domain expertise - Good to have but these are secondary to the core technical skills above Has experience with extracting data and/ or creating analytics from one or more supply chain systems such as inventory management, procurement, supply chain planning, warehouse management (WMS), or transportation management systems (TMS) Has working experience in a retail, distribution or high-volume consumer good environment Has experience working on the extraction, manipulation and presentation layers of supply chain oriented dashboards and analytics platforms
