About the role
Job Title: ETL Developer Location: Remote MUST HAVES: Talend Kafka Data lake or Data mart exp Required Skills: Design and develop reusable Talend ETL job flows that meet customer requirements while upholding high standards of reliability, security, maintainability, and performance. Able to integrate with multiple data sources utilizing various technologies such as ODBC, FTP, API, Kafka in platforms such as Windows, Unix/Linux. Thorough understanding of fundamental software engineering and computer science principles Perform software quality assurance 5 – 7 years of experience as an ETL developer in data warehouse environment using tools such as Informatica or Data Stage, preferably Talend Strong knowledge of data warehousing methodologies and concepts, including ETL processes and dimensional data modeling Experience with system integration across multiple systems and platforms utilizing various technologies such as ODBC, FTP, Window, Unix/Linux, and AS400 Experience working with high volume databases with partitioned data, performance and tuning Experience working with cross functional development, QA, test and production teams Proven track record of meeting project deadlines and delivering high quality consulting services Experience with complex SQL queries, PL/SQL knowledge. Basic knowledge in Java would be preferred. Experience in Kafka streaming process.
