About the role
Role: Informatica Developer
Duration: 6+ months Location: Remote Visa: w2 role Rate: $50/hr on w2

Job Duties: Design, code, test and support applications using ASP.NET, .NET Core, C# that interact with Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases Configure and deploy applications using the Microsoft development stack Collaborate on system design sessions and code reviews Participate in full development lifecycle from requirements gathering, estimating, design, development, and implementation Perform unit testing, quality control, troubleshooting, code review and standard data validation practices prior to production release Support the documentation and cataloging of developed software applications Create Functional design documents and Technical design specification documents for ETL Processes Design, develop, implemented ETL process to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from inbound flat files and various source systems Like Oracle, SQL Server into Oracle database using the Informatica PowerCenter. Develop Mapplets and Reusable Transformations to prevent redundancy of transformation usage and maintainability. Create and schedule workflows using Workflow Manager to load the data into the Target Database. Perform unit testing, functional testing and regression testing in dev, test and UAT environments.
MINIMUM Education and Experience Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering (any), or related field of study; and 5 years of work experience as a Data Engineer, in the job offered, or any related occupation in which the required experience was gained.
ALTERNATE Education and Experience Requirement: Master’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering (any) or related field of study; and 2 years of work experience as a Data Engineer, in the job offered, or any related occupation in which the required experience was gained.
Applicant must have demonstrated experience with: Extract, transform, and load (ETL) tools, specifically Informatica PowerCenter; GitHub or TFS for CI/CD; Perform quality control and performance evaluations for designed solutions; Microsoft SQL Server in Agile and other standard SDLC processes; and Oracle database. Use JAVA transformation and HTTP transformation to call the JSON and REST webservice API. Create workflows, worklets and use all the other tasks like email, command, decision, event wait, event raise and assignment tasks in the Workflow Manager. Knowledge of Change Data Capture CDC and CDC workflows to capture the real time data from applications into an oracle database.
