About the role
Role: ETL/Pentaho ENGINEER Vendor/Client: Apex/Verisk analytics C2C IS FINE Contract: 6 months to perm Interview process: 2 video interviews to hire Location: remote MUST HAVE: Pentaho and ETL (pentaho must be at most recent position) • What does the Day-to-day Look like? (Daily Responsibilities) understand etl, loading, Pentaho runs on serverless docker and they will have to code in etl It is all new work, no reviewing cobol • Heads down pentaho developer • Required Tools/Technologies: pentaho, sql, etl, data integration • Preferred Tools/Technologies: AWS Apex is in search of a detail-oriented, data-savvy individual to facilitate development of our client's data products in an agile environment. 1. Should have strong knowledge in Pentaho Data Integration Tool ((Version 5, 6)? 2. Exposure to various Steps & Transformations in Pentaho. 3. Hands on day to day ETL and SQL programming experience. 4. Perform tests and validate all data flows and prepare all ETL processes according to business requirements 5. Adhere to development methodologies, standards, naming conventions and best practices 6. Prepare project related documentation during the different stages of the project as required 7. Perform root cause analysis on all processes and resolve all production issues 8. Ensure configuration management, Code Migration, versioning and release management (Atlassian, GIT) 9. Collaborate with others developers 10.
