About the role

Job Title: Front end developer with a focus in ember Work Location: Remote Duration: 5 month/ contract
Citizenship: Citizen NO H1B PLEASE
Candidate must have exp with Ember version 3.12 or higher.
Notes: Building a temporary website for the State of Georgia’s Veterans Affairs(not medicare) https://veterans.georgia.gov/. They’ll be using a template to build the front end while adding a few new features(messaging capabilities, etc.) and then ensuring the front end successfully interfaces with the already-constructed back end. Plugging in API’s, making sure everything functions and looks pretty.
Required Skills:
• experience in front-end development technologies with a minimum of 3 years with JavaScript and Ember • Development experience in JavaScript, CSS3, HTML and similar technologies on multiple projects • Experience leveraging libraries and tools such as: AJAX, jQuery, AngularJS / NodeJS, Ember, Backbone.js, and Underscore. • Using and working in team environments that use agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Lean) • User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
Desired Skills:
• Experience working with APIs. • Experience working with JavaScript Frameworks • Experience with automation/build tools (Gulp, Grunt, Bower, Yeoman, npm, Phantom.js, etc.) • Experience using Git / GitHub • Previous experience working within a product team
