About the role
Senior Front End Developer (Web Accessibility) 6-month contract to start (Likely extension to 2 years with strong performance) Fully Remote (Pacific Time Hours)
Description:
Our Fortune 10 e-commerce client is looking to bring on two to three Front-End Engineers with a focus on Web Accessibility. The team currently doesn't have any developers with accessibility experience, and they are looking to improve the accessibility of their UI for their QuickSight business intelligence software
Requirements
8+ years’ experience developing secure, performant consumer-facing web applications 8+ years’ experience working exclusively with JavaScript ES5/ES6 Role will focus on writing JavaScript while utilizing React/Redux and Flux stores Expert level knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3 Role will be building complex, responsive, pixel perfect layouts for modern web browsers Expert level knowledge of web Accessibility, Accessibility tools and accessible development best practices Experience with unit, component, integration, and end-to-end testing Notes:
If you don’t have anything accessibility related professional experience this role will not be a good fit.
