Full Stack Developer

Role- Full Stack Developer Duration- 6+ Months Location- Charlotte, NC 28203 (onsite 3x a week in SouthEnd area of Charlotte, NC, 28203) Required Skills/Abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong experience with .Net C#, .NET, react, typescript/Node Experience with RESTful Microservices Are familiar with and can write Lambda's Experience with SQL and PostgreSQL. Familiarity with Event-driven Processing, Straight-through Processing, and Batch Processing. Scripting experience (Bash or Python) Experience with Kubernetes Agile/Scrum/Confluence experience Fundamental understanding of GraphQL (if they have exp w RestAPIs but not graphQL that’s ok_ graphQL is used on the react/node side Financial experience (doesn’t have to be retirement specific) Plus: Experience with ETL/ESB technology AWS experience (ECS, CloudFormation, CloudFront, S3, IAM, Cognito, EFS, and RDS) Experience with Junit testing/auto Spring Boo Node Neo4j Static code analysis/sonar cloud/penetration testing skills/vulnerability testing Standard GIT flow Notes: Team Structure and Hiring ·Likes the idea of starting with two contracting teams to create the foundation, then hiring contract-to-hire (C2H) resources that align with that tech stack. ·Start with one squad, then bring on the next five. ·Write a Statement of Work (SOW) for ten to provide flexibility. ·Eventually may want to hire a technical leader to train new hires in CLT. Add to scope: managerial experience. Potential, adding to the to-do list to let us know. ·Key roles: SDET architect, Tech lead/manager/architect/product owner. ·GTWs for the individual contributors. ·One round of interviews for architect/leads. ·Needs approval by tomorrow for rates and confirmation of a team of five. ·Start when they clear, don’t need to start all in one day. Technology and Development ·Wants to move away from the big Java/.NET apps and program in the language most appropriate for each app. ·For the lambda/backend functions that support the front end, the focus will be on TypeScript. ·Will eventually convert to Rust/Go/C depending on the application's requirements. ·If building a microservice, that would push them to head. ·Need object-oriented programming knowledge in Java/Spring Boot or C# .NET. ·Want to avoid Java for these teams for now, but may need it in the future. ·Web development is progressing well. The plan is to focus on backend work until mid-next year, then return to front-end work. Logistics and Equipment ·Travel: Senior level - max twice/year; Junior/mid-level - almost no travel. ·They will provide equipment: MacBook Pro, dual monitors (at the workstation in the office).
