About the role
Job Title: Full Stack Senior (Appian Developer Senior) Location: Onsite in McLean, VA (Preference for candidates in VA, DC, and MD) Duration: 3-month contract-to-hire
Must-Have Skills: 7+ years in IT with 5+ years of Appian development (recent versions preferred) 5+ years using latest deployment methodologies (Automated pipelines, Atlassian tools) 2 years of core Java experience 3+ years integrating Appian with Active Directory, Ping, and other platforms 3+ years working with APIs, XML, SOAP/REST web services Strong database knowledge (DB2, Sybase, Postgres SQL, MS SQL) Infrastructure and security expertise (EKS and Appian cloud)
Nice-to-Have Skills: Experience with Angular, JavaScript, and Ansible preferred Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to mentor junior developers
Responsibilities
Develop enterprise-level Appian BPM applications Translate business requirements into Appian process models Design and implement enterprise integrations (DB2, Sybase, Ping, Active Directory, AWS) Build reusable Appian components Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship Troubleshoot production issues and drive resolution Participate in Agile delivery processes
