About the role
Position: Sr. GCP Java Developer Location: 100% Remote Cloud Self-Service Portal · seeking a Java developer that will be a key resource in the creation of the Cloud Self-Service Portal. o The Cloud Self-Service Portal will address the needs of developers deploying resources into the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) · Once completed, this portal will be the internal developer portal for all of approximately 400 developers. The successful contractor must be: · Senior level · Skilled in cloud development · Technically proficient in o Terraform o Git/GitOps (more behind the scenes) o CICD pipeline development o Java Springboot, o Cloud Run, GKE deployments o Cloud SQL Postgres o Flyway or Liquibase The successful contractor will be working with the principal cloud architect at AutoZone. Note: No UI development needed Preferably near shore or offshore · Backend: Java/Spring/SpringBoot · Git Knowledge · Postgress/Oracle - familiar with Cloud SQL Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Knowledge · Cloud Platform – GCP · Knowledge of IAM concepts · Understanding of Containerization and orchestration · API Integration/Development (Restful API) · Database Migration: LiquidBase/Flyway · Understanding of CI/CD pipeline and proficiency in CI/CD tools – GitLab CI · Apigee Knowledge is a plus
