Please go through below Job description and lf you are comfort/available for the position then respond with latest/updated resume Role: GIS Application Developer Location: Remote Length: 12 Mo Requirements: GIS Development no years of exp required Summary The City of Charlottes Innovation and Technology Department is looking for a GIS Application Developer. You will be responsible for Developing Applications, integrating GIS Solutions across the Citys infrastructure, and implementing Community Hub Initiatives as an ecosystem. Knowledge of React, JavaScript, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS Community Hub is required. This contracted position will primarily work on developing new GIS applications in the Housing and Neighborhood Services Department. There are other related projects such as Modernizing the Citys GIS application suite, GIS application integrations, and building out the Community Hub Ecosystem for resident engagement. Responsibilities Review and analyze application requirements with customers Design, Build, Test, and Deploy GIS Applications Work with Citys GIS vendor (ESRI) deploy GIS solutions on Citys infrastructure Incorporate GIS solutions across other technologies Modernize existing GIS Tools. Requirements Expert knowledge WebApp Builder for Developers Expert knowledge Experience Builder for Developers Experience in performance tuning of SQL statements Skills in connecting to diverse data sources, including APIs and databases. Experience with code versioning tools such as Git or TFS.
