About the role
Role: Golang Developer
Duration: 6 months Location: Remote Visa: W2 role
Job Description: My client has a log of backlog in GitHub that they are sick of waiting for Microsoft to help them through so they are shifting as much as possible to their GitHub repository and they need someone to translate the files from GitHub to Gitlab which requires Golang and some experience in both GitHub and Gitlab.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable applications using Golang. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on Golang. Proficiency in GitLab for version control and CI/CD pipeline management. Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices. Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. Knowledge of other programming languages such as Python or JavaScript. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
