About the role
Hadoop Developers for a contract position. The position will be on a hybrid schedule (3/2) from Week 1 in Dallas, TX (Plano location) or Charlotte, NC (Uptown). Hadoop Developer W2 only – USC/GC/H4/GC EAD Process: Video call with me and then 1 and done interview with the client Top 3 requirements: a. 5 yrs of Hadoop b. Unix c. PySpark OR Java d. Hive e. Are any of them flexible? Oracle from a RDMS – nice to have
Day to Day Responsibilities/project specifics: Bank of America’s Global Operations organization is starting a digital, data transformation! We are going from various, disconnected and siloed organizations and systems and working towards building a data fabric that truly leverages our data lake environment and powerful metadata. As we look towards the future, we’ll continue driving automation and sophisticated analytics. We are currently looking for a strong team of Hadoop/data developers and a data analyst/modeler that will join our team and help us chart out the future of our operations, powered by data.
