About the role
THIS ROLE IS ONE PHONE HIRE Roles and Responsibilities: · Hadoop/Big Data Support · Senior level – 7+ years of exp. big data environment experience · Manage BAU and production support team for Hadoop administration and development · Support the environment and app teams to troubleshoot and get issues resolved. Support production. Manage level 3 support · Migrating away from level 1 and level 2 support so work with those teams during transition · Mongo DB exp is a component – rest API is also where they pull the data from · Middleware and Kafka implementation exp would be nice to have · Good understanding of what development teams are doing. Development work in the past is a plus. Understand what they’re implementing and troubleshoot. · Financial services is a plus – risk and finance data system that they are working with
