Identity and Access Management Engineer (SailPoint SME)

Role: Identity and Access Management Engineer (SailPoint SME)

Location- 100% Remote Duration:12 Months

Key Responsibilities:

1. **Integration Management: **

• Design, implement, and manage integrations between Okta and internal enterprise applications to ensure seamless and secure user access.
• Develop and maintain integrations between Okta and customer-facing applications to enhance user experience and security.
• Administer integrations between SailPoint and internal enterprise applications to manage user identities effectively.

1. **Identity and Access Governance: **

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and enforce identity and access management policies and best practices.
• Maintain and enhance SailPoint's identity governance and administration system to ensure compliance with security policies and regulations.

1. **Security Enhancement: **

• Monitor and respond to security threats related to identity and access management systems.
• Implement security controls and measures to protect sensitive data and user identities.
• Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities and mitigate risks.

1. **System Maintenance and Optimization: **

• Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the reliability and performance of Okta, SailPoint, and Delinea systems.
• Continuously optimize IAM processes and systems to improve efficiency and user experience.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to IAM systems in a timely manner.

1. **Documentation and Training: **

• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of IAM processes, configurations, and procedures.
• Provide training and support to internal teams and end-users on identity and access management practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). - Proven experience in managing identity and access management systems, specifically Okta, SailPoint, and Delinea. - Strong understanding of IAM best practices, security principles, and industry standards. - Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for system management and integration. - Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. - Knowledge of regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC2) related to identity and access management is a plus. - Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) are advantageous.
