Role: Integration BA Location: 100% Remote Duration: 12 Months Required Skills : Technical and Functional documentation experience, Experience writing and working with EDI file claims specifically around 834 , 270, 271 Job Description : SUMMARY: The Technical Business Analyst is responsible for identifying, collecting, analyzing, and maintaining data to evaluate issues that support prospective business decisions. This role also coordinates projects for senior management. RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS: • Business Analysis and requirement gathering services o Review business requirements and understand business impacts and product related technical requirements. o Support Product Owner in writing functional specifications o Write user stories for Development to understand technical solutions needed. o Support “grooming” sessions with Product Owners and the Team for Product and Sprint Backlogs o UAT support o Support development resources on the team and research questions as needed with the client. o Support UAt and testing of releases as needed o Develops documentation, reports and presentations for all levels within the organization including executive leadership. o Collaborates with Subject Matter Experts to develop accurate documents. EMPLOYMENT QUALIFICATIONS: EXPERIENCE: Five (5) years of experience in a related field required to provide the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities for the role. SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES (SKA) REQUIRED: • Strong communication skills are required to understand, interpret, and communicate ideas. • Strong knowledge and use of existing software packages (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.). • Strong knowledge of Jira • Experience pulling and examining data • Knowledge of SQL • Experience with Data mapping • Strong analytical, organizational, planning, and problem solving skills. • Ability to effectively interface with employees at all levels. • Other related skills and/or abilities may be required to perform this job. • Experience executing in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. • Administer and adhere to corporate and departmental policies, practices and procedures • SDLC Life cycle • Medicare and or Medicaid claims knowledge/ healthcare knowledge is necessary for this position • Has to come from a healthcare background • has to have experience working with EDI Transaction files- 834 , 270, 271 Notes : candidates need to be able to work EST-- preference is candidates in EST or CST time zones.
