Projects: E&I, north of 800 applications that we work with. · Modernization effort · Kafka Streaming · Micro services · Event driven Architecture · Pretty dynamic environment · Perspective of communication · Upwards of 70 apps are being supported on 1 project · Negotiation skills, influencing skills · Relied previously too heavy on tech skills

Overview: UHC Technology E&I Architecture team has a need for Enterprise Architect(s) to provide strategic initiative support (transitional & target architectures) for UHC E&I business. Lack of Architect(s) dedicated to modern architecture has presented challenges and missed opportunities in providing a clear strategic direction in supporting E&I initiatives.

What are the top 5-10 responsibilities for this position? (Please be detailed as to what the candidate is expected to do or complete on a daily basis)

• Communication of Target architectures, patterns, and technology standards to Product Architects
• Business Concept Development and Impact Assessments as part of Strategy Development & Value Realization from concept to delivery
• Solution design/collaboration on an as needed basis for solutions spanning multiple Product Families/LOBs
• Escalation of issues impacting delivery of transition architecture or technology constraints to enterprise architecture
• Building the technology life cycle road map with technology delivery teams

Skills Required

8+ years of overall technology architectural experience (e.g. 8+ enterprise, business, solution, information) 5+ years of solution architecture experience 3+ years leading architect efforts or managing a team of architects Proven ability to understand technological infrastructure and how it relates to solutions and integrations Proven ability to demonstrate the relationship of data architectures as they relate to integrated systems solutions Experience managing relationships with senior level business leaders Excellent analytical and problem solving skills Excellent interpersonal skills and workplace savvy Proven ability to understand the big picture before getting into details Detail oriented and organized
