IT Business Analyst

Short Description: Under general supervision, analyzes customer business needs and participates in the planning, design and implementation of new or enhanced systems.

Complete Description: Candidate MUST be local to Metro Atlanta area.

Job Summary: • Assisting in the development of departmental policies and procedures regarding the administration of IDD NOW/COMP waivers and state funded services. • Monitoring progress on projects, communicating with division leads to ensure that they are satisfied with the work that is being done, and resolving any issues that arise • Managing staff within the department and contracted entities to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget and other administrative constrictions • Reviewing proposals to ensure compliance with healthcare codes and regulations • Work on SIS projects • Lead workgroups • Provider enrollment • Diverse across departments • Quick learner because there is a likely hood that the person won’t be very knowledgeable about DD.

Under general supervision, analyzes customer business needs and participates in the planning, design and implementation of new or enhanced systems. Supports the user community in the use of functional business tools and support systems. Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university OR Associate's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND Two years of related experience •OR Two years of experience at the lower-level IT Business Analyst 1 or position equivalent.

Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience

Healthcare IT experience Required 2 Years IT Project methodology experience including Agile. Required 2 Years Experience with data analysis and database queries (SQL). Required 2 Years Skilled with using Data visualization tools such as Power BI and Microsoft Office Suite including VISIO, and Axure RP. Required 2 Years Business analyst experience, with a progression in responsibility Required 2 Years
